Biography[]

Backstory[]

1981-1986[]

Don Worthington helped the Faircloughs to foster Sharon Gaskell in 1982. This was only a temporary arrangement, although Sharon ended up staying with them full-time. Don Worthington never knew that 20 years later his doppelganger would terrorise the street for 2 years.

After 1986[]

Richard's corpse

Worthington's body is wrongfully identified as Richard Hillman.

In 2003 Don Worthington was shocked to see a lookalike of himself on the news, a man identified as serial killer Richard Hillman, whom the police launched a manhunt after. Don cleared his good name at the station. Unfortunately for Don, Richard clocked on that he had a doppelganger in Weatherfield, and killed Don and dumped his corpse in the canal. Richard faked his own death by driving his family into the canal, and managing to put Don's body into the wreck of the car, and later that evening Don's body was recovered and identified as Richard's body by his wife Gail. Richard got away and lived in exile.
