Joseph was born in December 2011 to Katy Armstrong and Chesney Brown during a nativity play. When he was three years old, he left with his mother Katy for Portugal in March 2015. Katy was killed in a car accident in late 2017 when Joseph was five years old, and he returned home to Weatherfield to be with his father.
