Margi Clarke (born 1954) is an English actress who played Jackie Dobbs as a regular cast member from 1998 to 1999, and then for guest returns from 2008 to 2010.

Original Coronation Street appearances (1998-1999)[]
Margi Clarke joined Coronation Street as Jackie Dobbs, the cellmate of the wrongfully convicted Deirdre Rachid. She originally appeared on a guest basis from March to April 1998. Clarke returned to the role on a regular basis in November 1998, which also introduced Jackie's son Tyrone Dobbs.
Clarke's personal problems led to her being dropped from the show, and Jackie was written out in March 1999. Tyrone remained on the show as a long-running character.

Clarke returned to the show of Jackie in August 2008 after an absence of nine years. She was given a two month contract, and later reappeared in January 2009. She made further appearances from February to March 2010, her final time on the show. Jackie was killed off-screen eight years later.
