Matilda Grimshaw was a resident of another Coronation Street in the area and waged war with Ena Sharples over the renaming of Ena's Coronation Street as Florida Street, as Matilda said her Coronation Street was to stay as it is already named. Matilda called Ena a tough nut and Ena said "Yes and you haven't cracked me". In the end, Ena's Coronation Street was to remain "Coronation Street". Matilda was played by Marion Dawson.
